As the title of this post might suggest, I think I might actually love Zara Larsson. Not in a weird way, but in a way where it's totally awe inspiring how put together and "woke" someone can be at the tender age of 18.
Best known for her collaboration with British producer and artist, MNEK, the Swedish artist has been making her requisite rounds on "the scene", visiting talk shows in her native Sweden, across Europe and in the United States.
Weirdly enough, Zara came up through Sweden's version of the "Got Talent" series, but didn't release an EP until January 2013.
Now for the bit I "love" about her.
Ok so no ones gonna talk about the fact that tygas new single is basically controlla?— Zara Larsson (@zaralarsson) June 30, 2016
I've always had a weird love and admiration for Swedish artists. My mother is the biggest ABBA fan ever. I mean, ever. So I grew up in a house where a strong chorus, catchy hook, and great harmonies took precedence over everything.
Zara is very clearly someone who understands pop. She has a powerful voice for such a young person, and she can hold her own in an interview--a very important trait.
My girl is an outspoken feminist and already respected by massive names like Tinie Tempah. Zara Larsson isn't quite a household name yet but she's showing all the signs of a huge star in the making.
