Khan’s music is strange. It’s buzzy and assertive, leaving little room to draw attention to the sparse vocals on each track. 1000 is slightly more experimental and aggressive–something to really sink your teeth into, creatively. Tracks like “Red” bring that sensual funk vibe, wrapped inside the bizarre instrumental composition that the artist has perfected on on this release.
