It's been a while since I rated the most important releases of the week. Not to worry, though. I'm back and I've got...thoughts.
"Ain't My Fault" - Zara Larsson (6.5/10)
I love Zara, as is well documented on this blog. However, this MNEK produced semi-banger is a bit overdone for my tastes. It lacks the easiness that fans are used to from Zara.
"Freedun" - M.I.A. ft. Zayn (2/10)
Not good.
"Ultraviolet - Dagny (7/10)
"Ultraviolet" perfects what my husband would call "h&m music". It's really bright and bouncy. Top notch release from the Norwegian artist.
33 "God" - Bon Iver (8/10)
This really different to Bon Iver's last release. It's clear he's going in a different direction for his new album which I actually don't mind. This one takes a couple listens to get properly into it, but it's definitely a winner.
