All about that app life

I love reading articles about people's favourite apps and I love getting app recommendations firsthand. So, I thought I'd put together a list of my favourite apps because there are definitely certainly people out there who love reading about apps as much as I do.

Pocket
I love Pocket because I'm obsessed with productivity and articles about how to improve on my current lifestyle. I look at it at least once a day when I have some down time or am going about my morning routine. It's a great was to start the day and it has a way of making me think of a wide range of things that will ultimately improve my "process", so to speak.

VSCO Cam
I use VSCO cam every day. In fact, every picture I've ever taken and put up on this blog has been edited using VSCO cam. There are a lot of great filter and editing options and VSCO is definitely a brand that is committed to accessible, shareable, and quality mobile photography.

Pocket Casts
On my iPad I use the native podcast app. On my Android phone I use Pocket Casts. I've tried Stitcher and other podcast apps but, in my opinion Pocket Casts is one of the best. It's not free (£2.99), but it's worth the money. The user interface is really simple to use and there are a bunch of functionalities in this app that haven't made it onto other apps. I've only been using it for a short amount of time, but I've already discovered a bunch of really cool podcasts. Not only does it organise your podcasts into one place, but it recommends so really cool ones as well.

Clue
As you can tell, I'm really obsessed with being organised and having everything in my life be "functional". Clue is one of the apps that helps me do that. It's a German made app that helps me track my period and PMS symptoms. I'm not one for surprises so it really helps to have everything laid out in front of me. When you feel any symptoms of PMS you can enter it into the maps calendar so analyse later. It's a really cool way of keeping track of how your body works.

Hyper
Hyper is a video curation app that I cannot get enough of. It shows you some of the coolest videos from around the web. These videos can be anything from how sound design is produced to how a mother/son music duo travel the country together. It's such an amazing tool especially if you work in media or curation!
