When I was a kid there was this show on the Disney Channel called The Weekenders. It was about a group of kids who always tried to cram their social lives into the weekend because school occupied their entire week. Funnily enough, the show resonates with me more as an adult than it did as a kid.
Growing up, I’ve begun to feel a bit like a weekender. My boyfriend and I have opposite work schedules during the week so any time on the weekend when we can hang out is always a win.
This weekend we tried to cram loads into 2 days. We had a picnic and tried out Tramshed in Shoreditch for the first time on Saturday. On Sunday, we brunched and I recorded a podcast (due out tomorrow).
Why haven’t they added another day to the weekend yet? Back to the work week!
