Mini Review: Throwback album of the week; Snowden//Anti-Anti

Anti-Anti was released in 2006 and is the first full length album released by Georgia natives Snowden.
The album is a release that is unassuming in its nature but packed to the brim with distorted guitars and vocals. Steady melodies and ethereal vocals on some tracks give the album a varied and versatile feel.
They are fairly unique in their aesthetic, fitting quite nicely among British indie rockers of a similar genre. Foals, Bloc Party, Scissors for Lefty, and the National are comparable to Snowden.
Standout tracks include Black Eyes, Anti-Anti, Kill the Power, and Between the Rent and Me.
